Team Description
Our Office team is responsible for creating the unique Dropbox environment in our growing offices around the world. From San Francisco to Sydney, our office team locates, designs, and maintains our global campuses. Meanwhile, the Tuck Shop crew raises the culinary bar with every meal.
Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Workplace Services Coordinator to join our team. As a Workplace Coordinator at Dropbox you will report directly to the San Francisco Office Manager and have the opportunity to help support a dynamic and collaborative environment where Dropboxers will be excited to come to work every single day.
Responsibilities
• You will handles coverages and project delegation for workplace services coordinators
• You are the point of contact for all event set-ups and breakdowns (All Hands, recruiting events, Hack Week, etc)
• You will manager event supplies (ensures folding tables, chairs, and tablecloths are maintained)
• Support Events Team on all special requests (executive meetings, Internal Comms confidential meetings, etc)
• Partner with Corporate Engineering/AV to support staff events
• Gain full-knowledge and understanding of event spaces, layout options, as well as functional details and storage locations of all event assets
• Provide post event feedback and improvement areas
• Help schedule and maintain Company Events Calendar
Requirements
• 2+ years of operations and event experience, preferably in a dynamic tech company, hotel, restaurant, or hyper-growth organization preferred
• Strong execution skills - validated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities within agreed timelines and budgets
• Being reactive and able to pursue unforeseen challenges
• Experience using event management or customer service software
• Experience using Google Calendar
• Available to work events (day, evening, weekend) as business demands
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial skill-set while delivering hustle with style and grace
• Strong attention to detail, organizational planning, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
• Thoughtful communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a spectrum of personalities
• Ability to maintain composure and sense of humor in high-pressure situations
• Passion for Dropbox and helping it scale
• Ability to move up to 50-lbs
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
