Marketing Director, Audible for Enterprise
DESCRIPTION

As we grow our B2B offering, we are looking for team members with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to be a part of this exciting and growing category that will introduce the power of Audible to millions more listeners. The Audible for Enterprise team delivers B2B solutions to clients across various industries and market segments.
We are seeking a Marketing Director to lead our newly formed, small but growing Audible for Enterprise marketing team. You will have direct hands-on ownership as well as cross-functional coordination with teams including Product Management, Creative, User Experience, Sales, Technology and Agencies. The role requires a passion for results, a commitment to action-oriented analysis, an attitude that anything is possible, and a relentless focus on the customer. The right candidate will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, and not afraid to take risks.
You will be responsible for shaping innovative programs and executing strategies to drive successful B2B buyer acquisition and end-user engagement. You are a data-driven growth marketer who excels at performance marketing and conversion funnel optimization, but also understands brand and product marketing, as all disciplines will need to coexist to drive a world-class marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Buyer Acquisition:
• Drive buyer acquisition initiatives from idea through execution, including determining the optimal creative, channel mix and budget.
• Grow, develop, and optimize all paid and organic marketing channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, and SEO activity against customer acquisition and efficiency goals.
• Monitor and analyze performance to devise ways of spending more efficiently. Provide thorough analysis of each channel’s impact, both in terms of transactional and incremental value.
• Interface with Google and media agencies as well as Internal Stakeholders to find new areas of growth; Manage third party agencies in order to deliver against goals. Report on progress against goals and other relevant metrics to internal stakeholders.
• Identify conversion-marketing strategies and testing pipelines (A/B and multivariate) that will support the conversion of Enterprise prospects to buyers.
Brand & Product Marketing:
• Establish product positioning and key messages for buyers and end users, which differentiate the Audible service in the market
• Communicate the key value messages to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
• Through interviews, surveys, focus groups, sales and competitive data, gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, potential threats and buyer personas
• Develop marketing strategies and tactics for the launch of new features, capabilities and products.End-user engagement - develop strategies and actions to drive continued end-user habituation and engagement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of experience in digital marketing
• Experience driving acquisition (e.g., Paid Search. Display, Wireless media) in a growth stage organization, with a solid understanding of the full customer lifecycle; Strong grasp of performance marketing, web and mobile analytics, SEO and conversion funnel optimization.
• A formula for continuously testing and refining your approach in support of demand generation and revenue growth.
• A results-driven approach that values teamwork, calculated risks, timely execution, and quality delivery.
• Ability to partner and collaborate cross-functionally to get to the best results.
• Demonstrated success in hiring, mentoring, coaching and retaining a high-performing results driven team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to senior leaders
• Budget and forecasting management experience
• Not afraid to roll up your sleeve and get into the details of execution
• An understanding of Internet business models and web technologies.
• Ability to be adaptable and deal with ambiguity, operating in a high-energy, rapidly evolving environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or similar required. MBA a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience marketing in the B2B and B2B2C space
• An understating of revenue models in subscription-based businesses
• Passion for books and / or digital entertainment
