We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and organized marketing professional to join our Product Marketing team, reporting to the VP of Product Marketing within the Product organization. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, is crucial.
The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the Product Managers across the Product organization, to bring new products and releases to market as they are developed. This individual will also work with the Product Leads to build, iterate, and communicate the overarching MediaMath story both internally at MediaMath and externally with partners, clients and media. The Product Marketing Manager will engage regularly with key stakeholders including Product leads, Activation leads, Commercial, Engagement and Account teams, and MediaMath’s Marketing team, to ensure messaging is aligned across the Product organization and all other divisions, toward the goal of a cohesive and client-centric narrative.
What you’ll do:
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in market, and equips our Client Success Organization to use the products with clients to help solve their marketing challenges
• Ability to effectively articulate and capture the story behind Product developments is critical (i.e. what are the benefits of this release, and why does it matter?)
• Communicate the value proposition of our products to the Commercial, Engagement and Account teams
• Build sales tools to support the selling and ongoing usage of our products, including:
◦ Sales deck slides
◦ One-sheets
◦ Case studies & testimonials
◦ Sales enablement training decks
◦ Other collateral
• Assist in planning of the launch of new products and releases, and managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan
• Ability and interest to grow into owning launches in the future
• Assist with branding and naming, and ensure consistency of terminology across the org
• Ensure that all relevant teams across the organization are kept informed of Product activity, by compiling and distributing:
◦ Weekly/bi-weekly notes on product releases
◦ Monthly and quarterly highlights and updates
• Ongoing documentation upkeep of Product information within internal portal
• Work with Product Operations team to monitor impact of timeline and roadmap changes on downstream go-to-market activities
• Work with Product and Activation Leads on offerings already in-market, to increase usage, ensure best practices are being used, and ensure customer questions are being answered
• Work closely with Activation team to continually seek and implement ways to improve adoption of solutions
• Collaborate with Marketing team on planning and executing publicity and thought leadership initiatives, including:
◦ Press releases
◦ Conferences and events
◦ Blog posts
◦ Media mentions
• Build strong relationships with all stakeholders; understand differing viewpoints and needs of each to ensure organization understands and adopts new products and releases
What you’ll need:
Background
• 3+ years of experience in or around the digital advertising ecosystem, preferably in a Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Engineer, or Partner Integrations role
• Experience in Account Management also a plus
Skills
• Strong grasp of basic design and layout principles, including the ability to deliver presentation- and production-ready materials
• Project management skills: Responsible for managing timelines, hitting deadlines, and keeping all stakeholders informed. Superb attention to detail is an absolute must
• Excellent PowerPoint skills; proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite

• Fast learner: Must be able to rapidly grasp and learn technical topics, and to explain them to others
