<h3>Position Summary</h3>
A successful Agency Sales Director is extremely talented, strategic, and possesses significant enterprise sales background. The Sales Director position is responsible for selling to senior executives at large enterprises throughout the United States. The Agency Sales Director will generates new sales and revenue by successfully identifying and fostering prospect relationships resulting in closed sales. This includes maintaining a material sales funnel. This position requires strong consultation skills and excellent solutions knowledge. Focus will revolve around selling high quality, best-in-class website development, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social advertising, and engagement marketing solutions. The Agency Sales Director must be able to explain technical solutions with a straightforward approach, and must also be able to overcome the technical and business objections of prospective customers. The Agency Sales Director oversees prospect interaction through to account team hand off, including creation of all client--facing materials and execution of agreement. The Agency Sales Director will partner with Agency Solutions Architects and Subject Matter Experts to craft prospect solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Pipeline -- build and cultivate pipeline through effective prospecting strategies and by leveraging current relationships.
• Identify and work with key influencers and executive level decision makers.
• Lead prospect conversations to diagnose website, platform integration, and digital marketing needs; translate into tangible requirements for Solutions teams to provide quotes.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements.
• Results - consistently attains monthly and quarterly sales goals by managing end-to-end client sales cycle, aligned with the prospects' buying cycles.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
<h3>Job Experience Requirements</h3>
• 5+ years experience in enterprise sales in SEO, PPC, SMM, and website solutions
• Experience selling $10K+ monthly budgets and $50K+ technology solutions
• Strong solution selling experience; ability to probe to understand prospect need and translate into solutions requirements
• Proven track record of successfully selling enterprise solutions to C-level employees
• Strong, demonstrable sales aptitude and a hunter mentality.
• History of effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting
• Track record of consistently and successfully managing Sales cycles of 6-12 months
• Leading and managing complex sales into complex enterprise organizations
• Maintain strong understanding of high value online marketing solutions, technology solutions, and industry trends, including up to date digital marketing best practices and website architectures and platforms.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and to facilitate discussions in order to develop agreed-upon recommendations.
