Senior Analyst, Finance Project Management
About the role:
WeWork is currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Finance Project Management to join our Finance team. This role will report into our VP, Finance Project Management. He/she will be an integral part of a newly formed team and will support the project management for the financial integration for different types of corporate transactions and expansion. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, resourceful, experienced in finance and accounting and comfortable working with many different stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Creates M&A financial integration strategy & value proposition
• Builds relationships with finance stakeholders and counterparts in acquired companies and acquisitions business teams, at all levels to deliver maximum value
• Defines strategic integrations roadmap and acts as a change agent for seamless planning and execution
• Develops finance process for implementation of other high-value transactions, new business lines and/or new country expansion
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• 2-3 years experience planning and implementing integration and separation projects as the result of M&A activity and other transactions
• Industry or consulting experience with financial reporting, finance processes, finance transformation/strategy, or finance shared services, particularly in relation to M&A activity
• Ability to work with clients on Day One readiness and execution
• Proficiency executing synergy targeting and realization
• Experience conducting operating model fine-tuning and organizational design
• Understanding of cross-functional and functional coordination
• Experience participating large projects through a PMO
• Experience with project management tools and techniques such as developing a project plan, milestone plan, dependency identification, status reporting, and issue resolution
• Knowledge of core financial processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, etc.) and potential impacts associated with merger activities
• Ability to travel required
