Expedia Tax is seeking a Director of Tax Program Management to lead the project management function within the Tax Team. You will identify, drive and deliver business-enabling strategies, process/policy, and Tax Team project roadmap. Reporting to the Senior Director of Tax Technology and Project Management and based in Bellevue, WA, you will partner with the Tax Leadership Team and subject matter experts across the company to craft an environment of success for the Tax Team and support business needs efficiently and effectively. Together, we will navigate complexity, influence and manage change, develop holistic processes, and establish relationships across the organization will be critical to your success and the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive the creation, communication and implementation of strategy related to the delivery of tax services by the Tax Team.
• Facilitate delivery of tax advice and recommendations for strategic projects, including leading projects, developing holistic processes, troubleshooting issues, and liaising with business and other internal partners effectively and managing expectations across the enterprise.
• Support individual projects by providing guidance regarding project governance, management and benefit realization.
• Partner to deliver key strategic initiatives, drive overall status, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Track and report project metrics for all projects supported by the Tax Team. Maintain centralized project portfolio; deliver strategic advice on program/project planning and execution.
• Drive Tax Project Portfolio process, tools, and associated tax roadmaps that support execution clarity.
• Lead a team of Project Management professionals responsible for leading initiatives requested by Expedia businesses, tax-driven projects, and related roadmap development.
• Partner across a variety of roles and seniority levels within and outside of Expedia Tax, to support timely, holistic and well-reasoned decisions.
• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.

Work Experience and Qualifications
• At least 10 years of hands-on strategy, program/project management and/or other meaningful experience
• Bachelor’s degree, Tax, Finance or Business-related discipline
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, JIRA, and other commonly-used business software tools
Preferred, but not required:
• Project management credentials such as a PMI certification
• Extensive experience in a Tax, Finance, or Accounting role
• Experience in a company in travel, technology and/or e-commerce industries
• Technology project management experience
