MediaMath is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced ad tech professional to join our Creatives Product team, which is responsible for the full creative asset management and delivery process across supply sources, media, and devices as part of our DSP.
This individual will work with engineers, internal and external partners and clients alike to drive the growth and capabilities of our integrated ad server, as well as our solutions in the area of personalized messaging.
The successful candidate has experience in product management including knowledge of its processes, is detail-oriented, tech-savvy and knows the ad tech landscape well from an operational perspective. S/he knows their way around an ad tag, is familiar with HTTP requests, the ad server daisy chain, the ad server and DCO competitive landscape, and will be building systems that ensure creatives “just work” from an operational perspective. The position reports directly to the VP Product Management – Creatives.
What you'll do:
• Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of systems related to our integrated ad server (T1AS).
• Guide and manage partnerships with vendors in the dynamic creative optimization space.
• Build consensus on product priorities leading to execution.
• Work with the product lead to understand and shape the product strategy for your areas of responsibility.
• Develop and write points-of-view for market events relating to your area of ownership.
• Drive product development with cross-functional engineering team and designers.
• Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
• Work cooperatively with Training, Business Development, Sales and Marketing teams to effectively launch, package and market new products/features.
• Understand MediaMath’s strategic and competitive position in ad tech.
What you'll need:
• BA/BS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent job experience.
• 3-5 years Product Management experience in software design, preferably in advertising technology. Experience in ad operations/trafficking with a high degree of technical understanding is a plus.
• Prior RTB and ad serving experience highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL, cURL. Strong knowledge of browsers (and HTTP requests), HTML, Javascript.
• Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications and APIs.
• Highly analytical thinking with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Agile software development / Scrum methodology.
