What you'll do.
• You will own our digital marketing strategy and execution across all digital channels – including targeting prospecting, retargeting and programmatic campaigns across social, mobile, display and SEM
• You will develop and test new strategies for reaching LendingClub's audiences. (Obsessed with testing everything!)
• You will lead development of our marketing tech stack required for scaling digital marketing. Including the needed data sources to improve and expand our targeting abilities.
• You will run and direct an eight-figure annual advertising budget
• You will have two direct reports to lead and mentor (with two more to come!) with intent to continue to grow the team in 2019
The impact you'll have.
• These programs drive a significant percentage of our revenue today, and we want you to double that
• Growth of digital is a top strategic priority for the borrower org; this position is visible at the highest levels of the business, expect regular C-level interaction
• This is the fastest growing area of LC’s marketing portfolio, making this a key role that has the potential to increase responsibility rather quickly
• Large autonomy in directing strategy and hiring team
About you.
• You've built something from scratch (or from early stages into something sophisticated); this role will take a bunch of individually performing pieces and find a way to coalesce them into something much bigger
• Has a network in the industry; knows people we can hire, agencies/vendors who are trusted, abreast on new technologies in the space
• You have expertise in conversion rate optimization, lift studies (100% of our programs are measured on incrementality, so this is a huge!)
• Able to deliver near-term wins while building towards a larger strategic vision
• Demonstrated top performance in prior roles, with a clear track record of success and increasing levels of responsibility.
