This role offers an opportunity to join a fun, talented, and growing Investor Finance team that partners closely with the Investor Business on driving value and expanding access to capital. You would report to the Sr. Director, Capital Markets Finance. S/he will employ technical acumen to support sound decision-making, automate reporting, and drive continuous improvement. Successful candidates for this role will need strong finance skills, interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain complex models reflecting the impacts of Investor Group activities on the Company’s Income, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Work with FP&A to replicate excel-based models in core Finance system (Host Analytics)
• Work with Controllers to track accruals, and where necessary, reconcile to invoicing
• Produce periodic reports showing Investor Group revenue, expense, and balance sheet usage, and compare actuals to forecast and/or budget
• Develop and maintain robust understanding of business drivers, metrics, and scalability levers that drive both forecast and planning decisions
• Communicate to executive team efficiently and concisely, with a deep understanding of the underlying analysis and data
• Present analyses and forecasts to senior business and finance leaders
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of Finance or equivalent experience
• BA/BS Degree required, Advanced Degree preferable
• Familiarity with capital markets
• Proven problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills; strategic and critical thinking
• Ability to understand, maintain, and create complex financial models
• Strong cross-functional experience in finance, accounting, and technology
• Proven track record of success in prior roles
• Advanced Excel knowledge and aptitude, simple programming (Python, SQL, etc.) is a plus
