The PR Senior Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies for both corporate and product initiatives at GoDaddy.

The PR Senior Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies for both corporate and product initiatives at GoDaddy. On the product side, the PR Senior Specialist will play an integral role in leading programs across our Presence & Commerce and Business Applications divisions, home to solutions (e.g., Smartline, GoCentral, Email Marketing and O365) that help our customers create a powerful online presence and build meaningful relationships with their customers. The PR Senior Specialist will also help lead communications programs for important corporate programs, including GoDaddy’s diversity equality efforts. GoDaddy has established itself as a vocal leader for diversity in technology and is committed to bringing about positive change across the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Developing communication programs related to critical GoDaddy products (including launches) and corporate initiatives
• Working closely with senior executives on communication programs, media interaction, public speaking and social media
• Managing the PR team’s analytics framework and reporting
• Writing press releases, long-form content, social content, presentations and other communications central to the role
• Managing the GoDaddy corporate awards program
• Working with agencies, vendors and strategic partners
• Assist with communications programs focused on GoDaddy’s international expansion
• Some travel required
Requirements:
• 4+years of public relations experience, including 2-3 years working for technology brands.
• Demonstrated ability to define and develop communications plans, construct and execute tactics to support the plan and measure results.
• Ability to work with senior executives, as well as multiple stakeholders across a global company. Ability to create executive-ready content for company and leadership meetings.
• Be creative, innovative and resourceful. Have a passion for not only the process, but the end results and driving business outcomes, as well.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to leverage content.
• The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding time-frames. Highly organized, and the ability to manage logistics/processes.
• Strong analytic, oral/written communication, project management, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability of interface with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership team.
