The Team
The Shared Services Transformation team looks to define and implement strategic solutions across end-to-end business lifecycles within WeWork, with a focus on Global Shared Services Finance functions. The scope of work spreads across various areas within the Global Shared Services team, including but not limited to Accounts Payable, T&E, Billing, Payroll, Procurement and Supply Chain, Logistics. The team works closely with business stakeholders across Procurement, Development, Community, Treasury, and Technology to define strategic operating model and technology solutions suited for the future state of the organization.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organized, process-oriented program manager to act as a lead on one or more global initiatives. You will report to and work closely with the Director of Transformation & Controls. The role will serve as a key leader on a lean, high impact, strategy and operations team, playing an instrumental role in progressing strategic decisions, developing key business processes, and managing change across global programs. You will be helping to implement change to scale our business and defining the controls required to sustain change.
What you’ll do
• Run one to several end-to-end projects, and represent Shared Services as the program manager working with a broad set of business stakeholders
• Identify process improvement opportunities across projects, including identifying root causes of issues within the current state, and identifying key future state requirements and changes
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to map out an operating model across all functional teams and define key roles and interactions
• Work effectively and partner with other leaders across the entire WeWork portfolio to implement improved processes and pursue strategic objectives
• Supervise and mentor a lean, dedicated team of ~3 professionals, and champion a culture of creativity, collaboration, diversity and innovation
Qualifications
• Degree for a top tier university with a major in finance, accounting, business management; MBA preferred
• 8 or more years of work experience in Program Management, preferably within Management Consulting or Financial Services
• Experience with leading cross-functional stakeholders across levels without direct reporting line for successful design and execution.
• Preferred – PMP, or other project management certification
• Preferred – Experience within inventory management, logistics and supply chain
