The Channel is critical to Veritas, being responsible for most of our sales. The Worldwide Channel Marketing team is responsible for driving programs to help our partners market Veritas products and services, across all regions and countries.
The Sr. Manager of Channel Marketing will be responsible for developing integrated sales and marketing programs for our global channel partners. They will develop programs to support our channel sales objectives while broadening awareness of the Veritas brand and growing channel revenue through our worldwide reseller and distribution partners.
The ideal candidate needs strong communication skills, high energy and is highly detailed and organized. In a dynamic environment, they need to be proactive, flexible, have strong time management skills and can balance many projects simultaneously with short deadlines for completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify opportunities, design, implement and manage channel marketing programs, go-to-market programs and promotions around Veritas offerings.
• Develop channel sales and marketing toolkits to recruit and enable new partners.
• Create channel content, materials, playbooks, communications, social media, newsletters and portals to inform and activate partners globally.
• Own and execute partner communications, tools and resources.
• Develop and manage scalable global tools and programs to build partner demand and pipeline leveraging the global campaigns, messaging and assets.
• Develop scalable and relevant partner demand metrics and measurement to quantify program impact.
• Educate and work with stakeholders across the business and with our partners to implement the strategy, initiatives and programs.
• Manage Channel Marketing Resources on the Veritas Partner Portal.
• Evaluate, select and manage external vendors supporting channel marketing programs.
• Ensure effective and frequent communication of key initiatives to the Veritas Channel teams.
• Work with local GEO Marketing and Channel Operations on content localization.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Minimum 10-year experience in high tech.
• Experience working with channel partners in complementary/competitive industries with a successful track record in channel marketing and communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated proficiency in copywriting and developing partner-focused content across channels (such as email, website pages, social media, e-newsletters).
• Must have strong marketing skills for creative program development and partner communications with a clear track record of execution.
• Strong analytics and reporting capabilities with project planning experience.
• Must possess the drive to achieve quick results and have the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a highly successful, fast-paced global organization.
• Experience with Oracle and Eloqua desired.
