Enterprise Content Manager
WeWork is currently seeking a Content Manager to join our fast-growing Enterprise Business Operations team. In response to increasing demand from established and rapidly-growing large businesses, our goal is to bring WeWork's beautiful, flexible workspaces, global business community and cutting-edge workplace technology to the broader workforce, increasing the breadth and impact of the WeWork business model. Enterprise members to date include a significant number of Fortune 500 companies, as well as numerous name-brand growth companies in the software, social media, financial, hospitality and creative verticals.
The Business Operations team serves as a cross-functional partner to WeWork’s Enterprise leadership and business unit heads, supporting this quickly-expanding segment of the business. This role will be critical to Enterprise’s ability to make data-driven decisions and integral in shaping how the business evaluates, prioritizes, tracks, measures and executes against strategic business initiatives.
About the role
As an inaugural member of the Enterprise Business Operations team, you’ll report to and work closely with the Business Operations Lead, developing a scalable communication process to disseminate key information quickly and building systems where feedback and questions can be submitted, published and addressed. You’ll also lead the charge to create fun, relevant and interesting content that will help our team stay engaged with our mission, their teammates and the work being done both locally and globally.
The successful candidate will be an excellent writer, strategic thinker, highly organized and have strong time management skills. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines with good grace and humor are key to success.
Responsibilities
• Develop deep relationships with individuals and leaders across our global business line.
• Lead the planning, development and implementation of internal communication and associated special projects.
• Create communication channels, strategies and tactics that support our business goals and objectives.
• Research, draft and edit a variety of written pieces, including weekly newsletters, announcements, feature stories, best practices and more.
• Generate extremely creative and engaging themes, campaigns and written copy.
• Develop innovative communication approaches (intranet, videos, digital screens, presentations, conferences, e-mails, etc.).
• Establish metrics, track progress and develop tools to improve communication effectiveness.
Qualifications
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
• Excellent project (e.g., organizing, planning, prioritization, decision-making) and time management skills.
• Proven ability to follow through on complex projects from idea to implementation.
• Bachelor degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal and/or external corporate communications, setting strategies and measuring success.
• Knowledge of internal communications processes and change management strategies.
• Well-developed professional networking and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with people and stakeholders across all levels within an organization.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as a member of a project team.
