What You'll Do
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for developing and operationalizing One Services Portfolio by partnering and supporting the Services Product Management Leaders and Teams in Advanced Services and Technical Services. You will provide leadership to the SSO based Portfolio team; providing critical insights on Portfolio performance including recommendations on key priorities to drive growth; and overall leadership of the Cisco Services Development Methodology.
Other responsibilities include:
• Ensuring and supporting One Services portfolio operations (CSDM, unified roadmap, tools, Table of Elements, and link to capabilities, webinars)
• Supporting One Services performance metrics and insights
• Contributing and facilitating key strategic One Services elements including Cisco NPI work, Unified offers (services and products), Buying programs and Partner programs .
You will play a key role in making recommendations to senior executives, and to also facilitate senior executives based on business insight, alignment to and understanding of the strategic landscape, using analytical abilities as needed to create a business case. Strong listening and communication skills are essential plus the ability to build trust and respect.
Who You'll Work With
The Services Portfolio Director reports into the Customer Outcomes organization within the Software, Systems and Operations Team in Services. You will provide leadership to a team of approximately 8 individuals. This role requires excellent cross-functional collaboration across numerous organizations within Services and across the company.
Who You Are
You will create a competitive advantage for Cisco by understanding market opportunities (including the ability to do market assessments and understand how our technology and customer requirements are continually evolving); decreasing time to market; and ensuring Portfolio simplicity and relevance. Your extensive leadership experience, business insight, technology savvy and knowledge of the Services business and Product Management fundamentals, will be key in the planning, designing, and due diligence of strategic business goals.
Other requirements include:
• Ability to take complex requirements and simplify them, as well have foundational knowledge on how the market is evolving as our Customers embark on the journey of digitization and automation.
• Ability to effortlessly move from strategic thinking to handling tactical issues.
• Customer understanding, process savvy and facilitation across Services, Product and Cisco Ops.
• BS/BA required, MBA preferred with extensive on the job experience in Services.
