Event Marketing Operations Manager

RingCentral is seeking an experienced event and campaign marketing operations manager. You will be supporting our corporate marketing events and campaigns teams with day-to-day activities include managing our email roadmap and executing on new campaigns, enabling ongoing marketing campaigns and webinar programs, and identifying new ways the marketing team can use tools and systems to become more efficient. The ideal candidate will understand how to maximize marketing automation systems to increase marketing efficiency, refine marketing activities and help our business scale.
Responsibilities
• Manage marketing operations for events and campaigns teams - involves both inbound and outbound marketing, including email, digital, internal communications, media advertisements and syndication, promotions, web, social media, and more
• Manage campaign set-up and end-to-end lead management using Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau and other tools.
• Develop process and submit and track team Purchase Orders, including legal reviews of contracts and agreements.
• Oversee budget as related to corporate events.
• Develop best-practices and prepare marketing reports and at-a-glance dashboard by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Work with internal and external vendors, e.g. exhibit house, printers, designers, etc., to ensure timely, cost-effective execution
• Maintaining event schedules, project checklists, internal calendars
• Collecting event feedback and gathering information for post-event analysis and reporting
• Define list segmentation and the preferences, needs, and challenges of each buyer’s persona. Identify—and adjust—appropriate mix of assets and activities to engage the audience, generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and grow and close pipeline.
• Regularly assess program effectiveness and adjust as needed based on conversion rates and cost-per-lead metrics.
• Provide monthly reporting and quarterly deep dive results on all campaigns and events
Required
Proficient in Marketo and Salesforce
Desired
Proficient in Tableau
Experienced use of NetSuite and Concur
Experienced user of Bizzabo Event Management platform
Experienced user of Boomset Registration and On-Site management platform
Qualifications
• Proficient in marketing automation systems specifically Marketo
• Proactively collaborate with data analyst and marketing campaign strategists to ensure Marketo is reflecting current business and reporting needs
• Customize Marketo back-end as needed (example: pick lists, mapping, etc.)
• Point of contact to troubleshoot data inconsistencies between Marketo and SFDC database
• Define, implement, maintain and document marketing automation best practices including list management, optimization, data quality, and troubleshooting
• Lead the creation and management of dashboards and closed loop reporting integrated with the sales database that tracks campaign effectiveness, prospect engagement, and funnel advancement; analysis of all lead generation campaigns; identify opportunities for campaign optimization and areas in the pipeline requiring additional marketing support
• Proficient in SalesForce, especially surrounding reporting and analytics
• Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and exceptionally well-organized
• Critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills a must
• Ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple, high-priority projects
• Experienced with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
