Purpose Of The Job
To develop and implement plans to assist the company in taking advantage of the global marketing and sales opportunities available through the Internet and supporting the Company’s business objectives.
Responsibilities/Duties
• Contribute to the development of an integrated marketing strategy including, but not limited to: benchmarking, market segmentation, research, web analytics and market analysis.
• Handle online marketing vehicles, social media, affiliates, SEO and outbound email marketing campaigns.
• Identify emerging market segments.
• Develop and conceive campaigns or programs to drive new customer acquisition.
• Build, manage, and support effective marketing programs within budget and investment guidelines.
• Develop marketing strategies and execute marketing plans that drive customer loyalty and retention.
• Analyze marketing trends and tracking competitors’ activities and providing valuable inputs for product and service enhancement.
• Regularly track and report each marketing plans/program performance and results.
• Support the execution of marketing events with each department.
• Maintain strong communication and coordination with all members of the marketing and merchandising departments.
• Develop content such as product review blogs, case studies, and be able to support or produce video content
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing or Merchandising or 6 years relevant work experience.
• 3 years of progressive marketing or merchandising experience.
• Excellent written/verbal, time management skills.
• Proven quantitative analytical and conceptual skills.
• Highly effective communicator to all levels, able to clearly articulate the company's values.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated strong facilitation skills and ability to identify common ground amongst individuals with divergent opinions and perspectives.
• Strong abilities in the areas of analysis, budgeting, problem solving and decision making.
Essential Mental and Physical Functions
Mental Functions:
Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position establishes procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives in a broad area of work. Only the final results of work done are typically reviewed.
Physical Functions:
Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.
Equipment Used
Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.
Work Environment
Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.
