We’re looking for a passionate and talented Proposal Manager to work with our fast-growing Enterprise Powered by We team to provide proposal leadership, develop internal review processes and procedures and provide writing support and overall direction to our deal support team. Powered by We is an exciting new product line where we package up all of our expertise building and operating hundreds of WeWork facilities around the globe and apply it to our clients’ buildings - all tailored to meet their specific business, cultural, and community needs.

We are looking for someone who is a natural leader, strategic and analytical thinker, quick on their feet and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an amazing opportunity to join an expanding team, shape the direction of our proposal process and establish best practices. You should have a strong sense of organization and time management all while bringing creativity to the table to produce strong, compelling collateral.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business unit leads, management teams, and other program personnel to provide proposal leadership, writing support, and overall direction
• Coordinate activities between writers, finance analyst, research analyst, graphic designer, legal support, marketing resource and sales ops manager
• Ensure the Powered by We and broader WeWork themes are reflected in our proposals, maintaining a consistent voice across all collateral
• Own the entire proposal process from conception of ideas and storyboarding to production, editing, and delivery
• Be responsible for the structure and direction of the proposal development process, in line with management requirements, goals, and direction
• Responsible for post-submission activities like lessons learned, process assessment, and document management
• Facilitate all proposal reviews and lead debrief meetings, solidifying recovery plans with specific recommendations for content improvement and/or compliance.
• Use and suggest appropriate changes to the proposal process, templates, checklists, standard write-ups, tools, and proposal repository
• Conduct compliance checks and provide related process training and required skills training to the proposal teams
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or other related technical fields
• Background in business development, marketing, and/or communications is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven experience writing, reviewing, and editing proposals and associated content
• Strong computer skills, including word processing, document management, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Previous experience managing proposal operations and overseeing related teams, including task delegation
• Ability to lead and manage large teams including individuals from all levels of the corporate organization, partners, consultants, and other proposal participants
• Strong time management skills and ability to oversee a diverse project pipeline
• Prior operational experience monitoring project progress, planning budgets, etc.
• A "do-whatever-it-takes" attitude
