Our team’s mission is to simplify our portfolio of products and solutions to deliver the most value for our advertising customers. We are seeking an accomplished, senior product marketing professional to lead global go-to-market for a fast-growing part of the advertising business, including Sponsored Products, Headline Search ads, and Stores. In this role, you will work to understand our advertising customers, which range from small business owners selling products on Amazon to the largest brands and advertising agencies, and translate those needs across multiple teams, including channel marketing, product and engineering, sales, research, retail, and training teams. As an owner, you will define the go to market strategy and plan, execute the plan, and leverage your analytical skills to evaluate product adoption. You will communicate the product roadmap and launches across partner teams globally.
Specific functions are as follows:
• Own go-to-market strategy and execution of product launches for Sponsored Products, Headline Search Ads, and Stores
• Develop value proposition and messaging frameworks, and drive articulation of product portfolio positioning, aligned to advertiser goals
• Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers and competitive positioning
• Maintain and communicate the global product release roadmap
• Create compelling sales and marketing collateral to drive adoption
• Conduct adoption analysis and develop recommendations for growth initiatives
• Identify internal and 3rd party research needs to support product positioning and go-to-market plans
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 years’ experience in product marketing, product management, or product development
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related discipline
• Communication skills and clear customer focus
• Strong bias for data-driven decision-making and experience in distilling complex, analytically dense products into client-facing solutions
• Demonstrated experience and ability in driving product positioning development
• Ability to synthesize advertising customer needs to improve customer experience
• Ability to create compelling sales collateral and marketing materials
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA
• Digital advertising and advertising technology experience
• Strong preference for experience in, and strong understanding of, search advertising and/or programmatic buying
• Project management experience and fanatical attention to detail
• SQL skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction
• Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, PR, Legal, and Research
• Quick decision-making abilities demonstrating bias for action under tight timing and pressure
• Experience with managing product roadmaps and implementing scaled processes
