Job Description
About the Role
The Mid-Market Senior Account Executive role is a great opportunity to leverage your sales skills and abilities in order to expand the number of national chains that partner with EATS. Who are we looking for? Someone who is natural at selling; passionate about food and Uber; and enjoys negotiating to build the best partnerships. Your primary focus will be partnering with senior and C-suite executives to develop strong relationships and drive national partnerships. You will also work with Mid-Market Account Executives to develop strategies around expansion of existing clients and prospecting of key target accounts.

What You’ll Do
• Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals
• Work closely with Senior Account Executives to develop acquisition and expansion strategy on key accounts
• Drive expansion of existing clients as well as generating new business at prospect chains
• Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our restaurant partners, including sustainable economics for both parties
• Work with a cross-functional team of sales, general managers, marketing and sales ops to develop the strategic sales approach to your named book
• Conduct regular outreach of calls and in-person meetings using a consultative sales approach
• Develop presentations that cater to specific clients
• Execute all required tasks on time and with high quality results.
• Help us identify and build best practices for your sales team and others
• Act as an ambassador of UberEATS mission, brand, and product
• Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our restaurant partners, including sustainable economics for both parties
• Clearly communicate the value of Uber and its newest products to prospects to strategically overcome objections and competition
• Use Salesforce.com for administrative tasks and to stay organized, forecast sales activity, and process contracts
What You’ll Need
• Exceptional listening, communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and follow through while paying strict attention to detail
• Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to improvement of your craft
• Genuine curiosity about people and business and a passion for UberEATS and food
• An infectiously positive attitude and drive to win; hustle and determination
• Desire to build and maintain long-term professional relationships
• Adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment
• Restaurant industry or hospitality experience preferred
• 5+ years of sales experience required, C-suite preferred
• Ability to travel nationally up to 25% of the time
