As the GTM Product Manager, you will be leading the Go-To-Market effort for our Appliance and Software-Defined-Storage products. You will develop insight into different channels and segments, identify opportunities and gaps with current product and offering. You will build customized offering, bundling or pricing strategy to grow our business in specific market segment and channels.
• Be the owner of our GTM strategy, and build offering, bundling, solution, promotion and / or pricing strategy to accelerate product growth in specific channels and market segments.
• Work with sales, product manager, marketing and other teams to build insight into specific channel and market segment. Provide insight for customer need and requirement, competition. Understand the selling process, players and their motivation, etc. Understand that forms a complete solution to address the customer need.
• Build relationship with channel and OEM partners. Build strong understanding of their ecosystem and technical solution, the value our product add to their business and solution, and challenges in growing business with them.
• Articulate the end to end ecosystem in specific segment and/or partners, the problem our customer and partners need to solve and their challenges, and the role and value of our products.
• Provide recommendation on unaddressed opportunities and requirement to drive sales in specific segment and channels. Provide insight in gaps with our current product offering.
• Provide recommendation and solutions to address technological and business challenges with existing channel and OEM partners.
• Identify new partnership opportunity to leverage Veritas products in channel/OEM partner’s end customer solution and grow revenue through royalty and reselling.
• Optimize our products, technology and business solution to enable our channel and OEM partners.
• Develop strategy and recommendation around new product offering or bundles, build promotion plan, or special pricing recommendation to address target segment or channel.
• Size the market opportunity, develop monetization plan and evaluate financial impact on topline and bottom line.
• Drive executive review and sign-off, implement the strategy and track the performance.
• Provide insight in segment and channel to help core Product Managers build product strategy.
Qualifications
• 7 years’ experience in product management, pricing, market intelligence, product marketing, business development, and / or related areas
• OEM and Biz Dev experience a strong plus
• Storage product, technology and industry knowledge required. Proficient in IT infrastructure technologies, especially backup and storage.
• Demonstrated record of defining GTM strategy and projects to drive revenue and growth
• Strong awareness of technology trends and their potential influence.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and presentation.
• Strategic thinking and ability to see the big picture while deep in technology details.
• Strong cross function collaboration
• High attention to detail, action oriented, ability to work within stringent deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem solving skills - take initiative to identify current and potential problems and determine the best solution.
