The quantity and frequency of changes to process, technology and colleagues at Sage is significant and needs expert scheduling, prioritising and marshalling within our regions and countries. This role will have responsibility and ownership of all information gathering and requirements capture (including process mapping) at a country level for North America.
The role entails evangelising benefits, communicating to senior stakeholders, translating requirements and solutions (to both IT and the business), managing stakeholders through change, adopting, optimising and ultimately driving change and benefits realisation at a country level across the global programme portfolio.
The role should share best practice, contribute to and embed the global business change framework that has been created and requires sharing via collaborative forums.
This is a critical and key role in managing complex business requirements and ensuring Sage realises maximum ROI on its investments in transformation. The role will ensure regional programme priorities are understood and will enable senior stakeholders to make informed decisions on go, no-go, park decisions on both current and prospective global programmes.
Eventually, the role will start to advise its regional MD, senior stakeholders and peers on operating models, best practice and will drive proactive changes across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership to help form the Business Change programme working with the (Programme Director).
• Complete country and region prioritisation of current programmes.
• Based upon country and region priorities, complete programme health-checks on P1 rated programmes.
• Produce informative reports and recommend changes to achieve ‘quick-wins’ across P1 rated programmes.
• Work closely with the Business Operations Team to develop and embed best practice across Sage.
• Design a roadmap for change to ensure P1 rated programmes are delivered in-country on time.
• Provide in-country business change and solution options on complex programme and projects across the Sage global portfolio.
• Ensure project and programme business change documentation is complete to a high quality and to acceptance criteria with clear sign off.
• Responsible for executing under the guidelines set out in the global business change framework.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Worked directly with the country/regional MD and leadership team for more than three months.
• Have three positive references from the country/regional leadership team.
• In-depth country and region knowledge.
• Dealt with and confident dealing with senior stakeholders (MD, EVPs, VPs, Function Leads, other).
• Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills.
• Depth of technical business change knowledge including “as is” and “to be” process mapping and how to traverse the gap.
• Depth of experience in a BC role in a large and complex business.
• Demonstrable track record of strong benefits realisation focus and approach.
• Project management experience required in a technical area or complex business environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (about 20% with most travel being domestic).
Technical / professional qualifications:
• BCS Business Analysis diploma.
• APM Change Management practitioner (or equivalent).
• Lean Six Sigma yellow/green belt.
