THE ROLE
Responsibilities include managing all aspects of order management, customer billing and the credit and collections function. This position reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage a team of order management specialists
• Manage the company’s order management process to ensure that all orders are booked timely and accurately
• Manage the customer billing process, including timely and accurate preparation and delivery of customer invoices
• Manage the establishment and periodic review of customer credit limits
• Manage the global process for collection of accounts receivable
• Responsible for forecasting quarterly billings and cash collections, and reporting on actual results compared to forecast
• Owner of the business process for the bookings to cash receipt for SOX compliance, including documentation of the process, identification of key controls, and responsible for maintaining compliance with the control environment
• Responsible for Sales and VAT tax reporting
• Responsible for the month-end close process and reporting for order entry, billing and accounts receivable
• Work cross functionally with sales operations on the order process
• Manage a team of nine people
• Lead significant systems and process changes in the order management process, including integrating booked opportunities in Salesforce to contract booking in NetSuite
REQUIREMENTS
• Publicly traded company experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 + years of combined order management, billing and credit and collection experience
• Excellent understanding of ERP systems, order entry systems, business processes, data workflows and root cause analysis
• Managed a team of ten or more staff
• Advanced level experience with Salesforce, NetSuite and Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word)
