Vice President, Enterprise Systems - Salesforce.org

The Vice President of Enterprise Systems leads a team of technology professionals responsible for delivering transformative technology solutions on multiple cloud platforms to enable salesforce.org to deliver on its mission as a social enterprise. This individual will bring inspirational leadership and deep experience delivering enterprise software in a high growth, startup environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of extremely capable and passionate technologists to deliver transformational internal systems implementations
• Hire diverse, distributed, world class talent and develop and foster a culture of servant leadership that contributes to employee success, professional development, and employee retention
• Own and communicate the organization's technology vision and roadmap that enables the organization's strategic mission, and inspires the team and executives alike
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with executive stakeholders in the organization
• Plan for and advocate for team growth to support a rapidly scaling organization
• Contribute thought leadership and best practices, both internally and externally, around technology transformation
• Provide executive project oversight on implementation projects
The ideal candidate will work from the San Francisco office or alternatively, if remote, will spend approximately one of every four weeks in the San Francisco office.
Experience/Skills Desired:
• Minimum 15 years relevant work experience including minimum 5 years as a leader in an IT/enterprise technology delivery capacity
• Experience with nonprofits, social enterprises, or other mission-based organizations.
• Demonstrated success in building a talented, cohesive, service-oriented team that works extremely well internally and cross-functionally
• Inspirational leadership abilities with distributed teams
• Ability to quickly grasp and simply explain complex technological and business concepts
• Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and develop trusted advisor relationships
• Experience overseeing multiple software implementation projects
• Strong knowledge of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support, Grants), business applications and automation
• Knowledge of Salesforce product and platform features, capabilities and best practices
