The 'F&S' team (Finance & Strategy) is the global champion for smart growth, delivering financial, business accountability, insight to optimize decisions, and shareholder success. The primary role of the Go-to-Market Finance Director / Sr. Manager is to provide extensive business partnering and financial support to the APAC Sales and Marketing organizations. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and decision support for Go-to-Market leadership team. You will partner with multiple functions including the Go-to-Market Organization, Corporate Finance, Global Sales Strategy and Accounting to deliver accurate financial forecasting, meaningful performance updates, and business improvement / insights. Initially, this position will have two direct reports at the Sr. Analyst and Manager level. This position will report to the Senior Director of APAC Finance & Strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Lead team of two finance professional in providing best in class business partnering to the Sales and Marketing organizations within a fast growing cloud software enterprise
• Build trusted relationships with key business leaders in Asia Pacific and the finance organization worldwide
• Manage the Annual and Long-term Strategic Planning Process for a functional group including P&L, Capital Budgeting and Cash Flow Forecasting
• Develop and build detailed financial models that track and analyze functional financial drivers and their impact on the company's overall performance
• Drive a Rolling Investment Prioritization Process - building flexible and dynamic project-based reporting to allow for maximum visibility to strategic investment decisions
• Drive existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages to senior management.
• Drive improved insight and reporting using Salesforce's analytical tool: WAVE
• Advise Sr. Director and Business Leaders in analysis and presentation of strategic materials for key management meetings
• Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all key stakeholders
Required Skills/Experience:
• 8+ years of FP&A or business finance experience, including experience at a global, publicly-traded company
• Experience in supporting a major functional area with an organization, with subject matter expertise in accounting, financial analysis, headcount/resource management and business metric reporting
• Analytical, problem-solving, advanced business acumen mindset
• Proven influencing skills at senior management levels of global organization
• Ability to multi-task effectively, working in team environments or independently
• 2+ years of management experience in a corporate setting.
• Ability to inspire and coach team members for career development.
• Track-record in process re-engineering and optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
• Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong financial modeling skills and innate ability to understand and predict trends
• Experience with Hyperion Planning and Smartview plus
• Four-year university degree in accounting, finance, accounting or economics - MBA or CPA preferred
