As the Vice President, Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic approach to growing and retaining the market for the Inside Sales team and leading the development of Sales training tools and resources that enable the continued development of a best in class Sales team. The success of this position will depend on the individual’s resourcefulness, data-driven mindset, and results orientation that appreciates how brand and digital efforts work together. This position will work collaboratively with multiple departments to deliver from concept to execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and lead key strategic initiatives that drive and support company success in achieving sales goals
• Develop, execute, and manage a strategic business plan to exceed National sales target and supports the skill development of the National Sales Team
• Build and maintain a positive work environment characterized by high expectations and aggressive goals while fostering an open, accountable, and fun culture that loves to WIN
• Develop and communicate vision, goals while working in a collaborative/ teamwork environment with their peers and across sales channel, company divisions and dealer partners.
• Create a winning culture within the National Sales organization through and with people, having solid discipline and track record in hiring, training and developing people.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to ensure financial and revenue goals are met
• Monitor functionality and use of existing reporting, systems and/or offers and make recommendations to improve service and training efforts
• Lead the development of new strategic product initiatives that address the OEM’s evolving advertising needs
Required Skills:
• Strategic understanding of the digital publishing eco system from both a media and technology perspective
• Strong operational and analytical abilities
• Initiative and ability to operate in a team environment
• Strategic sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple product offerings
• Strong system skills, including CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and MSOffice Suite
Required Experience:
• Experience in Digital Marketing industry experience required
• Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization
• Consistent over achievement of quota and revenue goals
• Proven success establishing strong relationships and working across all functions within the organization
• Experience leading through influence and working with remote teams
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams by communicating effectively and professionally
• Experience in auto category
• Bachelor degree
