Position Description
The Director of Program Management for Conversions is responsible for leading two key conversion efforts:
• Data Center Conversion: Director will partner closely with Concur’s technology leaders to drive and execute strategy to migrate private cloud applications to a public cloud via tight cross-company coordination.
• Concur Pay Conversion: Director will oversee the Concur Pay Conversion team that is driving conversion efforts to migrate existing customers from the legacy Pay solution to the new Global Pay.
Both conversion programs are high-impact, high-visibility initiatives that require regular alignment and reporting to Senior Leaders across various Departments.
The ideal candidate is a thought leader who has: experience in leading on-premise to cloud migration and data privacy/security programs, has strong technical and business acumen, great communication skills, and is able to drive alignment across various levels and teams within Concur and SAP. Goal is to build a conversion strategy, align entire business around the vision, ensure cross-functional team alignment, and build customer and field engagement plan and processes to support success of the programs.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Program Management, Global Strategy & Operations
Responsibilities
• Work closely with senior leaders across Concur to define, build, and drive conversion strategies
• Oversee programs and day-to-day operations to support migrations
• Accountable for program success and adjusting strategy/approach to align with business needs
• Drive program KPIs and key metrics to track all programs to align with company goals
• Build strategies to address customer objections, communication, and customer tracking
• Work with Marketing and customer teams to support customer engagement and value-proposition
• Drive complex discussion and coordination to remove roadblocks between data privacy/security, legal, product, and customers
• Drive clear, concise, and transparent communication and regular program and KPI updates
• Drive program alignment and coordinate processes across each impacted cross-functional
• Evaluate tools and processes to maximize internal productivity and process improvements
• Work closely with various departments to support and launch programs (e.g. Legal, Data Privacy/Security, Product, Marketing, Sales, Services, and broader SAP organization)
• Perform program monitoring, revenue forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
• Develop and mentor team providing frequent feedback and guidance for career development
• Global team management and flexibility. Some international travel may be required
• Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Training required:
• 10+ years leading technical projects, with understanding of data privacy/security procedures associated with public cloud solutions
• Strong background in process and resource optimization
• Works with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment
• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check
