The Salesforce Industries Business Unit is looking for a highly energetic and organized dot-connector and relationship builder. Someone who is people savvy and has serious project management chops.
The role is to help formalize our product team, and make sure that everyone in the rest of Salesforce (about 20,000 people...) that needs to be involved in what we are doing. It's a perfect blend of tactical and strategic.
Responsibilities
• Here's what you'd be doing:
• Involved in everything. All of the meetings. And make sure projects are moving forward.
• Enable transparency between our product management and design team, and everyone else in Salesforce
• Find out who else needs to be involved, where value can be added, and what already exists in Salesforce so we are as efficient as possible
• Formalize reporting on status, field operations, and more so that the team can make informed decisions
• Anticipate and handle obstacles that undoubtedly will appear
• Types of activities include but are not limited to: pilot programs, new product introduction, design partner engagements, roadmap planning and organization, product feedback and requirement gathering, product ambassador program.
Job Requirements
First and foremost:
• Knowledge of Salesforce the product and company structure, or at least understanding of how building Enterprise software works
• Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
Everything else that matters:
• Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years experience in the world of enterprise software
• Thorough understanding of enterprise software development processes and lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of the broad SaaS landscape, product marketing and go-to-market strategies
• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike.
• MBA a plus, but if you learned how to code instead, we're all for it
• A sense of humor, and grace under pressure
