The Senior Director, Sales is an incredibly exciting, critical and highly-visible role to GoDaddy. We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic sales executive to focus on sales strategy, delivery and success of our 350+ global outbound phone sales team. This role reports directly to the VP, CDT and is responsible for the topline CDT revenue, sales experience, customer satisfaction (from the sales experience) and key sales metrics. The Senior Director, Sales is a key member of CDT, C3 and GoDaddy leadership partnering to serve our 15 million customers (and prospects) and deliver significant top-line contribution and y/y growth.
Essential Duties and Primary Accountabilities: Listing of the major functions of the role including percentage of time allocated to each function. Should include all duties required to complete the job.

1 Deliver topline revenue sales goal and key underlying sales mix (new revenue, product mix, high-growth focus areas, etc...) by engaging, motivating and leading sales teams. Partner with product, marketing, regional and care center leadership to determine and implement effective global outbound phone sales strategies.

2 Partner and/or create effective sales training materials and sales support programs for sales team. Monitor and coach sales team and leaders.

3 Establish and manage monthly quotas (targets). Monitor sales performance, provide sales forecasts and key insights regarding. Manage sales compensation and incentive programs.

◦ Ability to establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing monthly/annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volume and performance to other key metrics (product, profit, revenue mix) required.
◦ Ability to determine, implement and manage many global sales strategies simultaneously required. Broad range of sales experience from one-call close to multi-touch, multi-team essential. Ability to evaluate, implement and adjust appropriate sales program by campaign, product or customer segment.
◦ Relentless focus on the customer and serving their needs in all scenarios as part of the sales process is key.
◦ Strong motivator and coaching skills. Able to motivate teams and drive team engagement/satisfaction is critical.
• Ability to partner with CDT leaders, and, in some cases, directly responsible for recruiting, hiring, orienting, training and motivating sales employees.
• Experience with designing and implementing sales compensation structures, mutli-team lead/sales programs and global incentive/bonus programs strongly preferred.
• An independent, self-starting leader that thinks holistically about GoDaddy's objectives. Able to work cross functionally and deliver results without a high degree of direction.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and organization skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Strong ability to manage change, resolve complex issues and communicate at scale.
• Extensive knowledge of Internet technology preferred.
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills required.
• Experience working in international markets preferred.
• Regular and consistent physical presence in company facility required.
