About the Salesforce, the leading enterprise cloud computing company, is looking for a Senior Director, Change Management to join the Corporate Development group in San Francisco. The Corporate Development team is responsible for Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Investments, and M&A Integration. The group is tasked with long-term value creation, helping maintain the company's competitive advantage, and advancing its strategic objectives by (i) identifying growth opportunities within new markets and new technology segments (ii) evaluating acquisitions, investments and other transactions that leverage these opportunities, and (iii) managing investments and acquisitions deal execution and integration processes.
The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. Moreover, this person will excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action.
Responsibilities:
• Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities; Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
• Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications
• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
• Support training efforts
• Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
• Complete change management assessments
• Consult and coach project teams
• Support and engage senior leaders
• Coach managers and supervisors
• Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
• Coordinate efforts with other specialists
• Integrate change management activities into project plan
• Evaluate and ensure user readiness
• Manage stakeholders
• Track and report issues
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
• Support change management at the organizational level
• Manage the change portfolio
• Design and interpret key performance metrics. Deliver insights & recommendations
• Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
• Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making
Desired Skills/Experience:
• 15+ years of experience focused on quantitative analysis, Excel, and logical reasoning
• Bachelor's degree from a top university
• Advanced degree in Organizational Design / Leadership or Communications preferred; change management certifications a plus
• Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
• Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions
• Tremendously strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint presentations
• Superlative communication skill, both written and oral
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
• Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
• Work experience in consulting, finance, or product management is a plus
• 25% travel (both domestic and international)
