Position Summary:
The Senior Director, Brand Marketing will lead all of Hotwire.com’s brand marketing efforts. The Senior Director will also lead the establishment of a well-defined global brand identity, striking an appropriate and informed balance between consistency and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities & Experiences:
• Develop compelling creative that drives Quality Awareness and Purchase Consideration metrics.
• Create differentiated, effective and efficient Media Plans. (TV, Radio, Print, OOH, Viral)
• Develop key brand health and success metrics and measurement tools.
• Evaluate market conditions and keep up-to-date on marketing trends and demographics of customers.
• Identify specific opportunities and capabilities required to strengthen the Hotwire.com’s brand and better differentiate it vs. key competition, based on agreed-to measures.
• Contribute as a key member of the marketing leadership team, participating in the overall direction of the business.
◦ Partner with On-line marketing and merchandising teams to develop integrated marketing programs.
◦ Partner with Product planning and software development teams to drive innovation on the website.
◦ Partner with hotel, car and retail teams to ensure we explain the brand position of Hotwire.
• Attract, develop, lead, mentor, and motivate a top-notch brand marketing team.
• Drive media planning.
• Drive PR plan both on a strategic and tactical level.
• Be at the forefront of new technology and use this to Hotwire’s benefit.
Global Brand Stewardship:
• Complete roll-out of global brand identity. (the deal and last-minute experts)
• Oversee development of global brand assets including logos for geographies.
• Ensure a sufficiently consistent approach to brand measurement and tracking.
• Identify and implement global best practices in area of advertising and communication success measures. Help Hotwire.com quantify “what good looks like” in the area of advertising performance.
Professional Experience / Qualifications:
• Demonstrated leadership experience and a track record of results in a consumer-facing enterprise that is primarily driven through marketing, merchandising and technology innovation.
• 10+ years in consumer marketing, with deep experience in offline channels, advertising development, and agency management.
• Demonstrated results working across Hotwire.com’s core and emerging form factors: TV, digital (e.g., pre-roll online video), magazine print/press, OOH, and radio. Including YouTube and viral campaigns.
• Demonstrated success in innovating around the consumer value proposition to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of the core product.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional results collaborating/partnering with global/regional teams and working effectively with others both internally and externally.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Executive Presence:This leader will have significant exposure to senior leadership. As such, candidate must demonstrate a high degree of executive presence.
Education:
• Bachelors required.
• MBA preferred.
Compensation:
Hotwire will structure a competitive compensation package including base salary and annual bonus to attract qualified candidates.
