Sr. Analyst, Accounts Payable
Overview:
The Sr. Specialist, Transaction Services - Accounts Payable position is part of MasterCard’s Global Business Services Center (GBSC) and will lead the Accounts Payable team for daily operations and resource allocation, monitoring day to day processing, identifying process improvements and enhancements, managing day to day reporting, tax and audit. Looking for someone who has in depth knowledge of AP, and can demonstrate ability to understand customer needs and make quick decisions.
Role:
• Supervise daily operations and resource allocation with service level objectives and performance target increases
• Enhance reporting capabilities and work with internal teams to understand reporting needs
• Participate in key projects
○ Invoice Imaging solution
○ Upload and interface enhancements
○ Robotics
• Support expansion initiatives and M&A integrations
• Manage tax reporting and audits
○ 1099s, AP Fiche, Escheatment, SOX Audits
• Continue process improvements
○ Holds review, Global exceptions review
All About You:
• Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to compose and present to leadership
• Possess a strong problem solving ability, attention to detail and a well-defined work ethic
• Strong analytical skills
Possess a sense of urgency and decision making skills; solid judgment
• Demonstrates a customer service focus and positive attitude
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and open to change
• Experience in Oracle a plus
• Expert user of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• In-depth knowledge of AP best practices and internal controls
