What Part Will You Play?
• Performs moderately complex to complex financial modelling tasks to complete financial projects, such as budget planning/analysis, financial plans, revenue forecasting, statistical reporting.
• Prepares and reviews ad-hoc studies, reports and analysis in response to internal and external requests.
• Participates in meetings with departments/organizations internal and external to the company to resolve financial data and/or process issues, develop/implement new methodologies, procedures and budgetary controls.
• Develops and reviews monthly, quarterly and yearend reporting. Performs analyses to support the review and interpretation of business segment financials, year-to-date department budgets, overall and department level performance to revenue targets.
• Prepares and reviews monthly income statement variances. Performs analyses necessary to identify the root cause of variances, prepares financial reports, and maintains/validates monthly/quarterly/yearend reporting.
• Participates in presentations to internal/external senior leadership and assists with the completion of required follow-up work.
• Creates financial modeling to support any pricing and margin decisions.
• Develop subject matter expertise in various areas of the industry to be able to strategically identify opportunities and threats.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with other functional groups within TSYS and with partner, client and vendor organizations.
• Ability to work effectively and gain credibility and respect of others.
• Ability to lead and persuade others, positively influencing the outcome of team efforts.
• Maintain and support miscellaneous reporting needs that provide ongoing communication.
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years of related work experience
• Advance financial modeling and financial analysis skills
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills, including expertise using PowerPoint
• Proficient with MS Office and expertise in Excel
• Proficient project management skills
• An assertive team player who plays to win, with a demonstrated ability to lead change and effective decision making skills
