SUMMARY:
Responsible for creating, delivering, and measuring training programs in all regions. Manages overall scheduling and communication of training- related events. Works closely with all department roles, utilizing subject-matter-experts where needed, and supports other departments in training initiatives as needed. The Training Specialist helps facilitate training programs for all employees to create a positive overall experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in financial and/or training industry
• Knowledge of Bank products, services, initiatives and company culture
• Familiar with varying bank policies and procedures within the footprint

• Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Primarily focuses on training surrounding Deposit Platform systems and operational process changes
• Determines company development, skill and operational needs through various measures across the Bank and develops training programs to bridge learning or skill gaps
• Communicates developmental needs to and from bank managers and employees across the company to form bank-wide training initiatives maintaining benefit to the employee and the Bank
• Works with all levels of management to ensure relevancy of course materials and delivery methods suitable to needs
• Researches, creates, delivers, and manages training criteria, programs, and initiatives through a variety of methods suitable for the topic, geography, and recipient
• Supports and partners with other departments to provide training
• Tracks progress and effectiveness through various surveys to ensure successful creation, implementation, maintenance and follow up specific to needs
• Provides current research and makes suggestions for direction of training
• Assists with forthcoming year’s budget making recommendations for new training initiatives as well as on-going efforts
• Assists in administrative duties of training initiatives
• Writes articles related to Bank Support for internal communications and maintains departmental websites
• Stays abreast of all bank products and services, promotions, incentive programs, company initiatives and company goals to support employees and the Bank in all endeavors and to assist with questions from throughout the company
• Assists with coordinating all outsourced development programs and overviews the efficiency and effectiveness of those programs
• Works with other departments to maintain a Corporate Training Calendar
• Reserves, plans, coordinates, and manages on and off-site meetings for various company training initiatives
• Assists in conversion and acquisition training as needed
