Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Marketing Strategist to join our team. The Manager will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of marketing strategy for one of our Single-Family business areas. The Manager position involves a variety of tasks including designing marketing campaigns to effectively drive customer engagement and adoption of our products and services. Responsibilities include:
• Independently represent and lead the development of marketing strategy with internal lines of business, cross-functional teams, external partners, agencies and vendors.
• Partner with specified lines of business, providing a consultative approach to program evaluation through the provision of market trends, program performance data, with and category and target audience insights, leading to the establishment of business goals and alignment of industry leading marketing strategy.
• Develop client-centric marketing strategies with account-based planning and execution, focused on outbound and inbound lead generation that drives growth, client engagement and solutions to areas of client complexity.
• Proactively seek out new partnerships/strategic alliances, facilitating strategy meetings with potential clients and the ability to drive influence and adoption with the line of business cross-functionally.
• Provide marketing and industry expertise in solving complex business requests, optimizing reporting, and simplifying processes using the latest technologies, marketing tools and media approaches.
• Lead the identification of requirements, prototype, design, development, testing and implementation through a deeper understanding of market and client needs and the determination of gaps that marketing can capitalize on to drive program growth and an enriched experience with Freddie Mac.
• Drive the agenda, as a key stakeholder and ‘opinion leader’ and own the management of the process – as well as the resolution of issues/gaps identified through the lifecycle of the program.
• Lead stakeholder updates, independently analyze performance data and impact of marketing programs, producing accurate assessments and recommendations for future program optimization.
Qualifications
• Typically 8-10+ years related work experience
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven work experience as a Marketing strategist or Marketing manager at an agency
• Strong knowledge of traditional marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, and advertising strategy
• Event management experience
• Strong B2B experience
• Strong written and oral communications skills and a keen attention to detail

• Strong leadership, strategic thinking driven by data analysis, project management and organizational skills
• Strong relationship/client management skills
• Working knowledge of the secondary mortgage market
• Ability to identify and elevate risks
• Must be a team player and possess the ability to work across the organization with business personnel at all levels
