You have the opportunity to become part of Group Non-Financial Risk and take part in strengthening, driving and steering our non-financial risk management practises while gaining a solid knowledge of how to manage risks in one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordics.
Who are we?
Group Non-Financial Risk is anchored within Group Risk Management. Our role is to set the standards, support and oversee adoption, and provide supporting systems and tools for forward-looking and effective non-financial risk management. We do this in close collaboration with the business units, functions and countries across the Group. We work across the different teams in Group Non-Financial Risk to create consistency and holistic solutions to ensure and support our vision of being an integrated bank that delivers on our customer promise.
In Group Non-Financial Risk, we offer the opportunity to work with a broad range of interesting and challenging tasks with Group-wide impact and in direct support of the Group’s business units, functions and countries. This entails that you will be collaborating with specialists and other stakeholders from around the Group - it is vital that you are confident and able to communicate ideas and analysis in a clear and collaborative manner.

• Take part in further embedment of the Group’s non-financial risk policy and tolerance into the organisation.
• To continue development and improvement of our forward-looking risk management approach, e.g. by setting risk tolerance, supporting robust product and change management and steering our top non-financial risks.
• To contribute to consistent and concise reporting throughout the Group to support appropriate and timely steering of the non-financial risks.
• To provide and facilitate training in practical non-financial risk management across the Group.
• To provide relevant, clear and concise communication in dialogue with stakeholders, ensure pro-active follow-up of issues.
• To contribute to the ongoing improvement of risk management practises and monitoring.
Your areas of expertise
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a business or technical field (e.g. finance, economics, maths or similar).
• Ideally possess at least 2-4 years of experience as an operational risk manager or alternatively have experience from business development, internal audit or project management, e.g. you have good understanding of processes and risks associated with them.
• You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills.
• You are curious and are able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple tasks. You possess a desire to get to the root of the problem; a structured and analytical mind-set; the ability to suggest solutions, and are successful at executing tasks and seeing projects through to completion.
• You are able to work effectively in a team collaborating with others while still being self-driven and able to contribute with your opinion.
