Responsible for developing and enhancing credit risk management strategies and/or loss forecasts. Utilizes customer-level information and predictive models to maximize profits, while using efficient trade-offs among key business metrics such as credit losses, receivables, and profit. Identifies, designs, and implementations statistical and business analyses in support of business strategy and loss forecasting activities.
Responsibilities
◦ Develops and maintains credit loss forecasts.
◦ Facilitates strategy implementation with operational teams to ensure the accuracy of executions. Conducts reviews to ensure accurate strategy execution.
◦ Supports the design and implementation of comprehensive tests and evaluates financial impacts from treatments to support enhancements.
◦ Identifies optimization schemes, customer segmentation, and predictive models to enhance decision making.
◦ Supports the development and maintenance of effective performance tracking. Identifies if strategies and/or forecasts are performing as expected. Applies key learnings to update strategies and/or forecasts in a timely manner.
◦ Develops and maintains credit strategies, processes, and procedures.
Skills:
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
• Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Sciences, Business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or related field
• In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
