What does a great Program Manager do?
In this position you will deliver transformation or our product environments and technology and responsible for aligning initiatives in the Dev Ops organization with other organizations within Fiserv and ensuring Fiserv’s ability to deliver the solution on a portfolio of projects that require multiple product implementations crossing multiple business areas combined with software development, systems integration and data conversion. You will play a critical leadership role and serve as a critical issue escalation point internally and externally. In addition, you are the executive level communicator with the various teams throughout the program lifecycle. You will also be able to provide leadership, vision, strategic planning and support tactical execution plans. Programs typically cross multiple business areas and third-party entities
You can look forward to:
• Providing a holistic view of the overall program and its respective projects to the organization and all stakeholders
• Monitoring and maintaining the integrity of the program
• Defining program governance outlining roles/ responsibilities, decision rights, and defining critical issue paths
• Ensuring the success criteria is defined upfront to promote alignment and actively lead to expected program outcomes
• Engaging all stakeholders and 3rd parties in the program, aligned on expected outcomes and informed throughout the program through ongoing communication
• Growing visibility by institutionalizing appropriate “inspection” practices to continuously improve and program delivery
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• 7+ years of previous program management and/or relevant consulting experience implementing infrastructure and cloud based programs
• Mentors Project Management team members on job responsibilities.
• Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries
• Experience in project and program management tools, processes and methodologies driving large scale change efforts
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint Stakeholder Partnership:
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with matrix project team members
• Formulate, gain alignment, and execute on program approach, end state vision and roadmap for the program.
• Build and cultivate a high-performance matrix Fiserv team ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery through direct management and overall coordination of all related projects and tracks of work.
• Build and develop relationships and seen as a single point of contact for issue resolution during implementation Develops and maintains strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with external and internal key stakeholders/customers across groups and/or business units to improve effectiveness and influence.
• Ensure a holistic view by coordinating with and monitoring all impacted business processes to support the transition from sales to delivery and from delivery to operational support.
• Ensure consistent program delivery by establishing joint agreement of the foundational Engagement Control components.
• Perform ongoing review of program status; identifies risks. Documents program progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks, and successes to maintain program course. Assesses results and implements risk mitigation solutions as appropriate.
• Determine, in collaboration with the various areas, the delivery roadmap, staffing plan, roles, skills, and allocation of the delivery team. Figures out if additional staffing is needed for meeting targeted program timelines and maintaining a program timeline with milestones. Communicate program information and status to the executives and partners and provides engagement oversight of the program related projects and tracks of work.
• Handle project issue escalations related to individual projects being managed by their team Experience managing complex infrastructure migrations and Dev Ops strategic initiatives.

• High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor of Science or master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science highly preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Successfully worked in a Matrix organization.
• Ability to create PowerPoint presentations for all levels of leadership.
• Experience managing strategic initiatives for product and infrastructure transformation
• Experience transforming to Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Octopus, GIT, VSTS / TFS, Sonar Qube, IBM AppScan, Fortify, Microfocus UFT (Unified Functional Testing), Selenium HQ and Ansible
• Experience creating Confluence sites and working with Jira
Travel required
: Percentage/frequency of travel- 25%

The Project Manager for the Dev Ops Organization are responsible for managing and overseeing key strategic initiatives including strategic transformation funded tech debt upgrades and other initiatives while working with various teams to determine complete requirements and plans to successfully complete initiatives. Project Manager works in a Matrix organization with various teams across the enterprise.
