Job Description Summary
Responsible for entering or transferring data into the lease information system, balancing and recording of transactions, performing lease modifications, and performing other complex lease set up functions requiring analysis, testing or research.
Essential Job Functions
• Key enters or uploads monetary and non-monetary transaction data into the lease information system including new leases, payments, advances, reversals, and other financial transactions.
• Updates lease status code on the front-end system and ensure all leases have been processed for the day.
• Researches items rejected by the lease information system determining reason and taking corrective action as appropriate.
• Handles special requests from the documentation department and provide assistance on proper coding.
• Processes complex set up of lease transactions with unusual lease structures such as variable payments and variable interest.
• Generates GL debit/credit entries to record funding activities.
• Audits system reports to ensure all leases have been processed.
• Processes advanced payments and other miscellaneous charges.
Other Job Duties
• Provide backup support for Equipment Lease Servicing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Experience
• Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.
• Requires 5 years minimum experience.
• May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.
Education
• Associate's Degree Arts Degree or equivalent experience in finance or accounting
Skills
• Thorough understanding of equipment finance and leasing and accounting transactions.
• Strong knowledge of lease documentation.
• Administrative/Technical Skills.
• Analytical and research.
• Balance figures.
• 10 key by touch.
• Use Personal computer.
• Use loan/lease information system.
