A day in your life as a Product Associate:
Under the direction of the Manager, the Product Associate is responsible for assisting in the planning, development and delivery of strategies and tactics to support product development, account retention and sales for the Retail Lending Division. Assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.
We’ll give you these important responsibilities…
• Supports product management initiatives by assisting in the development of direct mail and advertising materials and related training materials. Materials include direct mail letter copy and footnote/disclosures, toolkits, and payment calculators. Related tasks involve tracking, measuring, monitoring and reporting initiative results.
• Assists product managers on various portfolio projects that may involve changes to forms, agreement and disclosures, customer notifications, etc.
• Prepares straightforward financial (spreadsheet) analysis as requested by product managers. Provides an overall cost/benefit analysis of various programs and promotions independently or as determined/requested by product manager.
• Prepares various reports such as competitive analysis, product portfolio updates, market share data, and quarterly progress reports. Develop/maintain sales tools that include payment calculators, product flyers, and sales scripts, etc. Performs monthly, quarterly and semi-annual interest rate updates by obtaining current index rates and recalculating rates for current month. Distributes updated related material such as rate sheets, payment schedules and calculators to various departments.
Qualifications

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of banking or related experience.
• Customer Service, Retail Sales, Accounting, Finance and/or Marketing experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software.
Other Job Qualifications:
• Demonstrated verbal, written and marketing skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and possesses analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to work independently with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
• Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.
