Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:
• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for supplier onboarding in partnership with clients, SCF team members, and functional partners.
• Manage team of supplier outreach and onboarding professionals.
• Analyze and segment suppliers to meet onboarding and balance sheet targets for our clients and the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) business.
• Develop appropriate communications approaches for each supplier segment to drive a fast-track adoption of the SCF product.
• Collaborate with Product Management to provide “voice of the supplier (VOS)” business requirements to align delivery of product features/functions with supplier segment needs and timelines.
• Manage and host supplier conferences, training sessions, and webinars including providing subject-matter expertise in content.
• Create supplier-focused product marketing materials and tools to enable client buyers, originators, and supplier sales teams to effectively market, onboard, and service suppliers under the SCF programs.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a four-year college degree (e.g., B.A. or B.S.).
• More than 15 years of experience in corporate and/or transaction banking with strong knowledge in Working Capital Solutions/Supply Chain Finance.
• Direct strategic marketing and/or product management experience with a proven track record in executing large-scale marketing plans from concept to delivery.
• Entrepreneurial in approach with the experience to build out a supplier segmentation strategy and commensurate tactical approach for aggressive execution.
• Possesses subject-matter expertise to develop content for supplier materials (e.g., sales and welcome packages, trainings, web content).
• Strong influence skills to direct cross-functional partners to deliver end-to-end solutions for supplier segments.
• Excellent oral and written presentation and marketing skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while collaborating with the SCF team members in Chicago, Danbury, and New York as well as functional partners within the broader MUFG footprint.
• Good organizational skills, simultaneously managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work in dynamic and diverse environments with MUFG teams, clients, and suppliers.
