Professional Services Project Manager
What does a phenomenal Project Manager person do?
In this role, you will work directly with Fiserv's clients to provide a successful project delivery by planning, coordinating and monitoring small to medium scale projects for Bill Payment Solutions. You will be responsible for project intake, delivery and short term post-production support while fostering ongoing client relationships.
The Professional Services Project Manager works closely with team members and leadership to ensure excellent quality– supporting not only project delivery but also the intake/vetting process, requirements management, and continuous PM operational improvements.

Collaborating with key business partners to ensure our clients have a positive start-up and completion of their project. You will interface directly with our clients to lead projects that span multiple business units or functional areas providing you with an opportunity to learn several facets of our business.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• You will provide a holistic view of the overall project to the organization and all partners by defining success criteria upfront to ensure a predictable, consistent project delivery.
• Exhibit dedicated behavior by engaging in project planning activities, including but not limited to: Defining the overall scope of the project; Crafting and maintaining a consolidated timeline/schedule highlighting the major project objectives and associated dates for project activities
• Conducts internal and external project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Coordinates with other project managers and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts and dependencies.
• Prepares and conducts informal and formal presentations
• Able to grow a strong understanding of product offerings and implementations processes
• Ownership of the change management process
• Controls and tracks project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by constantly evaluating project progress and conducting regular team status meetings.
• Supports occasional weekend production events
• Documents new processes and procedures identified throughout the project relating to new product/feature functionality.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Bachelor degree in business or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of and proven experience in project management processes and methodologies, as well as, project lifecycles
• Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries desired
• Experience with requirements elicitation, validation and management
• Ability to build internal and client relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment
• Ability to comfortably coordinate, facilitate and manage virtual and in-person meetings
• Experience with project management tools including MS Project and Clarity
