California Bank & Trust, a division of Zions Bancorporation, is currently hiring for a Marketing Manager in its Corporate Marketing department in San Diego.

The Marketing Manger will have the following responsibilities:
• This position has responsibility to manage and oversee various aspects of the marketing department
• Creates, plans, and implements both print and digital marketing strategy and production
• Oversees elements of the marketing budget
• Manages vendor relationships pertaining to areas of responsibility
• Oversees public facing web properties, including controls on web page publishing, using analytics to measure results and inform strategy
• Acts as liaison with web team, marketing team and agency
• Oversees digital campaign efforts to track performance and recommend strategy
• Handles media trafficking coordination with agency and management of primary and secondary focus areas across bank directed marketing channels
• Oversees other marketing programs and projects as assigned
• Envision breakthrough, brand-driven, creative campaign concepts, designs, and experiences, for our key audiences
• Demonstrate forward thinking, problem-solving practicality and business acumen
• Direct and manage the development and execution of all creative assets including print, digital, collateral, point-of-purchase materials, sales materials, video, and other assets as needed
• Set the tone for the visual communications of the brand, both online and offline
• Ensure consistent application of brand identity standards across channels
• Lead, develop, manage and nurture creative team
• Create an effective yet efficient creative process
• Inspire the creative team to create valuable, memorable and exceptional customer experiences in every touch-point with our brand
• Instill culture of continuous improvement and evolution/enhancement of materials, including assets for marketing on demand platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional team(s) to create compelling creative concepts for our internal clients
• Use data (as available) to measure effectiveness of materials and recommend enhancements
• Develop and oversee timelines, deliverables, and creative budgets and expenses
• Present creative campaign concepts and results to senior management
• Maintain legal and compliance integrity of marketing efforts
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Requires a bachelor's degree and 8+ years of digital and print or other directly related experience, managerial experience preferred
• A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
• Motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred
• Preferred:
◦ 10+ years of experience in advertising agencies, graphic design firm and/or innovative corporate marketing setting.
◦ 5+ years of experience in a management/leadership role including representation of creative services to marketing management team and business unit leaders
◦ 5+ years of experience creating a vision and concepts for client brands
◦ 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
• Requires an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of marketing strategies and tactics, including interactive, digital, and print marketing
• Must also be familiar with banking products
• Ability to manage large projects and a complex budget and agile product management/development
• Must have good management, organizational, and both written and oral communication skills
• Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards
• Ability to lead a group
• Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities
• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving
• Expert visual storyteller who can create and direct creative work across all disciplines and media including video
• Experience in development of integrated creative strategy across various channels.
• Strong creative vision and understanding of business objectives
• Highly proficient in Adobe’s Creative Suite
• Experience with various web content management systems a plus
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, presentation, problem solving, and project management skills
• Able to produce high-impact creative work within existing budgetary and timing parameters
• Quick thinker with attention to detail who is comfortable working in a world of fast paced deadlines and working on several projects at once
• Comfortable with hands-on creation, leading an internal team, and partnering with outside agencies
• Confident presenter and be skilled in influencing and persuading others
• Solutions oriented and creative problem solver
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities while demonstrating creativity, flexibility and a consultative approach to the work
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Enjoys working in a collaborative office environment
