Job Overview:
Support a high profile program to retrofit/upgrade all security cameras and DVR equipment at our client’s retail branch portfolio. Program responsibilities include scope and cost validation, project authorization, and scheduling. Coordinate and manage the performance of consultants, contractors and vendors. Resolve conflicts between participants in projects. Manage construction delivery systems and installation, integrating project scope, schedule and budget from planning through completion. Manage project risk proactively and communicate to all parties involved. Must have prior experience in construction and multisite program rollouts and managing others. Experience with security installations a plus.
Leadership
• Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with all client representatives and service providers operating on the project
• Lead vendor partners on all assigned projects.
• Proactively identifies, reports, and solutions project and program risks
• Develop and maintain relationships with client and key vendor partners
Execution
• Provide project management oversight for 5-phase process on assigned projects
• Report and forecast project budgets and schedules utilizing accounts forms and tools
• Ensure clear and concise communication to branches ahead of project installation.
• Onsite visits to about 5% of the projects will be required (~50 sites)
• Communicate and coordinate installation of cabling with appropriate vendor, ensure 30 day look ahead schedule.
• Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation
• Responsible for timely review and processing of all invoices
• Consistently meets budget, schedule and required documentation goals
• Read and understand documents defining projects including leases and abstracts in order to comply with the lease to secure Landlord approvals prior to work and determine responsibility for funding project
• Provide project updates to manager and update in project management system of record
• Excel in all phases of Retail Real Estate Project Management activities; maintain end-to-end project accountability
• Adhere to clients critical environments change control process
• Ensure contracting process is followed and service levels are met in compliance with agreements
• Contribute to a safe work environment
Financial
• Manage project finances for capital projects within targeted percentage of budget
• Identify cost savings on all projects. Meet firms goals for cost avoidance / savings
• Submit timely cost and schedule change requests
