Job Description
Position Description
This newly created role within the CFO Group is responsible for driving the Company's efforts related to process optimization to improve customer experiences and drive operating efficiency. This Director will work across all lines of business to identify process improvement opportunities and drive efforts to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct complex diagnostics to measure effectiveness of existing processes across all lines of business
• Establish metrics and routines that will be used to measure operational efficiencies and performance towards efficiency goals
• Develop detailed documentation of existing processes including process maps, assessment of existing cost base & throughput, and identify potential levers for optimization
• Consult with the line of business to develop and evaluate end-to-end process redesign that improves customer experiences, drives operating efficiency and/or mitigates risks
• Work with business partners and cross-functional teams to develop business cases, and cost-benefit analysis for process improvement opportunities
• Consult with business partners to ensure that introduction of new processes is effective and drives sustained benefits. Leverages strong relationships with the lines of business to ensure continuous improvement after initial implementation
• Propose innovative and/or strategic approaches to help achieve optimization goals
• Develop and maintain strong working relationship with internal business partners
Qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters degree
• Six Sigma Certified (Black Belt or Master Black Belt level) or similar certification
• 10+ years previous work experience in process design, processes engineering and implementation
• Prior experience within financial services strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in process mapping, gap analyses, and solution development
• Ability to effectively work with others as part of a high performing team
• Ability to work under pressure in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, consultative approach and able to influence others to support objectives
• Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and to operate in ambiguity
• Ability to travel to key operations across the U.S.
