SUMMARY:
The Structured Finance Operations Manager (Operations Manager) has responsibility for the overall coordination and maintenance of the Structured Finance Group’s operational activities and ABLSoft system; and assists in the formulation, recommendation and implementation of operational policies. The Operations Manager must be able to fulfill all of the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Operations Manager position as well as the Collateral Analyst positions when vacant or absent.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in ABL processing/ collateral analyst functions
• Display a high level of professionalism and favorably represent the SFG at all times
• Exhibit initiative and job knowledge with an eagerness to grow and expand
• Meet deadlines in established timeframes
• Display excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills
• Maintain quality relationships with borrowers, co-workers, and commercial team members
• Serve as a mentor for Collateral Analysts

• Possess excellent problem solving skills
• Perform annual performance reviews along with an effective management plan consisting of goals for staff
• Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Serves on committees relative to operations and equipment and collaborates with others in the study and review of associated proposals
• Directs the study and establishment of new and revised systems, procedures, methods and forms for operational activities
• Supervision of operational personnel – Senior Collateral Analysts and Collateral Analysts
• Conducts ABLSoft software system and personnel training
• Conducts training on Monarch Modeler and other ABL specific software
• Establishes new loans and file maintenance of ABLSoft system
• Manage computer system operation, maintenance, balancing and input on ABLSoft system
• Assist in developing and initiating account servicing and monitoring procedures
• Oversee the daily loan balance, reconciliation, collateral and availability function
• Reviews “out of compliance” findings, exceptions, and reporting delinquencies to establish plan of action with appropriate personnel
• Initiate and monitor “end of day” processing of loan system
• Initiate and monitor “month end” processing of loan system
• Oversee the A/R audit verification process, review responses, and follow up on discrepancies
• Resolution of account discrepancies or needs between borrower and bank
• Approves and submits for payment invoices relative to field examinations
• Assist Portfolio Managers, Group Head, Relationship Managers, Analysts, and Credit Policy Officers as needed
• Works closely with Specialized Lending Loan Operations personnel in resolving any issues
• Assist clients with Treasury Management services and account openings
• Maintain a professional relationship with Client financial personnel in processing information requests as needed
• Provide managerial information and support that enables the SFG to satisfactorily meet its servicing requirements
• Work closely with internal and external audit personnel as needed
