Responsibilities:
• Accuracy and timeliness of Accounts Payable functions – including invoice processing (non-PO and PO), vendor set up including new vendor set ups and modifications, T&E auditing, reconciliations as needed including bank reconciliations and Amex statement reconciliations. Amex coding and processing. Projects as needed.
• Processing payments for ACH runs and T&E runs
• Report running and audit requests
• Providing problem and vendor resolution assistance to vendors and internal company personnel with tact and diplomacy; act as a liaison between departments and vendors.
• Ensuring compliance of all accounts payable policies and controls and review of all employee travel and expense reimbursements
• Providing effective and timely follow through with internal and external inquiries
• Review and verify W-9s, W8’s for new vendor setup
Essential experience/qualities:
• SAP Accounts Payable experience strongly preferred
• BS/BA in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Well-developed communication skills, verbal and written
• Knowledge and experience of SOX compliance beneficial
• Strong system skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
