Job Description
GCM Analyst I
The GCM Analyst is responsible for the trade verification and confirmation with counterparties and Comerica customers along with ensuring proper payment execution and monitoring compliance and preparing reports.
Position Responsibilities:
• Critique and verify trade information, confirm details with counterparties / customers, and resolve / escalate exceptions.
• Convert US Dollar transaction figures into foreign currency equivalents and vice versa.
• Properly format payment instructions in compliance with cross border and foreign bank protocols.
• Advise / negotiate required payment protocols with counterparties / customers.
• Review, repair (as needed), and approve counterparty / customer payments.
• Schedule and ensure receipt of payment from counterparties / customers, balance to subsystems, and resolve / escalate exceptions.
• Monitor counterparty and customer credit limits and collateral requirements for compliance.
• Monitor customer activities for AML, OFAC, CIP / KYC compliance.
• Prepare customer statements and advices using various automated tools and distribute via email, fax, or mail.
• Prepare worksheets and reports to balance and reconcile transaction activity.
• Utilize multiple subsystems to perform record maintenance, generate reports, and daily processing.

Qualifications
• Associate's-level business degree OR one (1) year experience in at least three (3) of the following disciplines:
1. Transaction processing or financial reporting within a banking or capital markets business environment
2. Accounting for transaction posting, balancing, reconciliation, accruals and statement preparations
3. Using financial business system
4. Using MS Office, especially Excel. SWIFT, ACH, and GFT payments protocols
