Due to the rapid growth of our Consulting group and Analytics practice we are currently recruiting for experienced Business Intelligence & Analytics Consultants to join our Chicago, Milwaukee, Washington DC or New York offices. This is a rare opportunity for highly motivated individuals who are want to take leadership positions in helping expand our Business Intelligence & Analytics practice while working with some of the leading edge software vendors and solution models.
In this role you will deliver consulting services involving Business Intelligence & Analytics solutions to multiple Baker Tilly clients. The position will require everything from project scoping to solutions architecture, report development, dashboard development, SaaS based development, OLAP development, data modeling and project facilitation. Baker Tilly works with some of the leading organizations of world to implement successful Business Intelligence & Analytics solutions. During your tenure with Baker Tilly you will gain deep experience in business process, industry and technical aspects of these solutions.

Responsibilities
• Participating in the full lifecycle of BI & Analytics implementations, taking on roles beyond that of a developer when necessary. Work will cover the full lifecycle of a project, from sales and requirements definition through application design, development, performance tuning, testing, deployment, and support
• Utilize application expertise, business knowledge and technical skills to successfully deliver Business Intelligence initiatives to clients
• Design, develop and support data integration and Analytics solutions
• Work with MS Project/Excel, Endeca, Cognos, Oracle, SQL Server and various database platforms
• Contribute to the development and growth of Baker Tilly BI/Analytics practice through thought leadership, mentoring junior consultants, and providing assistance to our sales and marketing teams
• Leading interview sessions with subject matter experts in an effort to formulate the Business Intelligence solution architecture
• Developing technical architecture designs which support a robust solution, taking into account the user requirements, technical requirements, etc
• Work with our clients to identify new areas within the business where the BI or Analytics software can be utilized to better drive business results
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience; previous experience with external consulting highly desired. Business Intelligence development using toolsets such as Endeca or IBM Cognos/SPSS is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed. Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and SQL programming skills
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
• Experience implementing one or more Business Intelligence solutions on various platforms and developing complex BI reports for large user communities
• Solid understanding of Kimball and/or Inmon data warehousing methodologies
• Disciplined approaches to designing and developing applications and strong client-facing verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience with search engines, object databases, data mining, OLAP, business intelligence tools, or network performance behavior a plus
• Java or other object oriented programming experience is a plus
• Ability to travel 50-80%
