Job Title Business Systems Analyst, Sr
What does a great Senior Business Analyst?
• Works with internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Client Care, and Compliance, as well as clients, to clearly define and document their requests.
• Assists with diagnosis/troubleshooting of reported problems pertaining to software developed team.
• Determines how to best implement the requested changes / customization. This may include working with Development staff, Product Managers, QA staff and / or other Business Analysts.
• Creates business requirements documentation / programming specifications with sufficient detail to enable application developers to complete the programming request.
• Ensures that the final user documentation effectively conveys the information the client needs.
• Tests / validates developed software solution to ensure that the completed product matches with the business requirements and operates correctly.
This position will help establish standards for business analysis and will help bring an integrated approach for building enterprise scale software. The skills and experience required for this job include Requirements Management skills along with high-level Technical Design and solution skills, and thus it requires technical breadth and/or depth. It requires experience in formulating technical solutions and leading a matrix development team towards that solution. This role will focus on analyzing business problems and defining high quality sustainable technical solutions for the enterprise. In this role you will be interacting with Architects, customers, product managers and development team members to ensure software development principles are followed and projects are delivered successfully
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• Works with internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Client Care, as well as clients, to clearly define and document their requests.
• Work as the primary interface between the Business and Technology in order to analyze and validate published Business Requirements and turn them into functional solutions.
• Translates business requirements into specific functional solutions, process flows, data flows, message data mapping, User & System Interface designs, Business Rule definitions, Use Case specifications, software and infrastructure component definition, etc.
• Collaborates with Systems Architect(s) and SMEs to develop high-level solution designs.
• Responsible for coordinating the technical solution across several technology teams in a matrix organization.
• If applicable, interface with third-party vendors during design to ensure coverage of the business needs and compliant integration to meet our requirements.
• Conduct technical assessments for both new and existing feature sets and recommend solutions and remediation measures.
• Ensures that the final user documentation effectively conveys the information the client needs.
• Validates developed software solution to ensure that the completed product matches with the business requirements and operates correctly.
• Ensures the use of best practices and applies lessons learned from previous projects. Evaluates, develops, and refines process to improve team productivity and efficiency.
• Participate in usability testing of the product and utilize the implications of the research findings in the design process.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Education:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology field preferred but not required.
Job Related Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the technology filed is required.
• 5+ years of business experience within the Banking and / or Credit Union industries. Familiarity with the Fiserv / Open Solutions DNA core banking system preferred but not mandatory.
• Understanding of infrastructure engineering with baseline knowledge of application architecture, integration architecture, security and data architecture.
• Ability to independently facilitate complex data gathering and design collaboration meetings, as well as code and Design walkthroughs.
• Prior experience with Angular, REST, SOAP & SQL technologies.
• Mobile experience preferred but not mandatory Ability to review code developed using an Object oriented language in .NET environment.
• A thorough and demonstrated understanding of generic project lifecycle management controls.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases as well as Oracle and SQL Server
• Proven research and analytical skills
• Maintains outstanding attitude and excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment even in high pressure situations.
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of product technology in an ever changing and rapidly expanding environment.
• Experience with evaluating and then developing / refining process to improve team productivity and efficiency.
• Must have excellent leadership, team management, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience with Agile development preferred.
Travel required:
• May involve 30% travel.
