Job Title SSL Certificate Security Analyst, Staff
What does a great SSL Certificate Security Analyst, Staff
SSL Certificates are at the heart of many Fiserv web and mobile applications, ensuring an accurate and complete inventory exists as well as a documented process is followed is essential to supporting our Clients.
You’ll be responsible for receiving and processing requests for SSL Certificates on a daily basis, working with the platform owners (XML, Mainframe, Linux/Unix, Windows) to ensure their requests are processed in a timely fashion and tracked in the system of record.
You’ll also serve as the point of technical escalation and research for any aspect of the Certificate Management procurement, tracking and delivery lifecycle Working directly with stakeholders and technical SMEs to proactively to avoid incidents, this role will serve to process, inform, provide and follow-up on all SSL certificate related requests.
You’re the kind of person who can:
•Receive and process requests for new/renewed SSL Certificates within the established SLA
•Serve as the point of technical escalation and research for any aspect of the Certificate Management procurement, tracking and delivery lifecycle
•Track all certificates processes/ordered in the source of record, ensure all necessary data fields are populated.
•Publish proactive reporting to stakeholders & platform owners, driving awareness to pending certificate expirations.
•Investigate and document technical support and operational processes for Distributed Systems. Ensure timely and effective communication occurs to all teams across Fiserv.
•Support regulatory, audit or compliance initiatives such as PCI-DSS, SAS 70/SSAE16, FFIEC
•Support operations teams on Systems Security tools & technologies in use. Perform related troubleshooting, develop updates or changes and resolve issues as required.
•Represent Systems Security interests on project teams (ensure security standards are visible, designed appropriately up front and applied correctly to new and existing systems & technologies).
•Research & develop new process or refine existing for procuring, communicating, installing and validation SSL certificates.
•Utilize service management, service request and incident management tools to record activity performed for oversight and tracking purposes.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems / Technology / Security or high school diploma/GED with relevant experience
Expert experience in updating and maintaining large volume of SSL certificates
•Min of 5 years of experience in an IT function
Min of 2 years in a mentor or team lead or leadership role
•Broad based foundation of IT knowledge
Intermediate to advanced technical understanding of Client/ Server technologies, LAN and WAN networking and security principles
Preferred Skills For Consideration:
•ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred, not required.
Strong knowledge of the applications your organization integrates with Managed PKI for SSL Digital IDs
■ Knowledge of the data and resources being protected by your organization's PKI
■ Knowledge of PKI
■ Strong familiarity with internet applications, web browsers, and HTML
■ Project management skills
Travel required: up to 5%
